Below is a link to a great piece put together by KPMG and shared by Simon Thorp of KPMG Enterprise Sydney.

One of our takeaways from this exhaustive document, is how few metrics there are and how little objective measures there are around Directors’ performance, apart from the obvious fiduciary responsibility.

From our work with Boards, we have found that most Directors enthusiastically welcome the opportunity to gain insight into their own performance and how they can improve even further. This is one reason why People At Their Best has invested over the past 3 years in building a best practice approach to evaluating Directors’ performance. We work with Boards to uncover behavioural and performance insights that help Directors lift their performance to better serve the organisations they oversee.
